As edbson said, contact the doc.

These meds can increase the need for hydration and slow the intake of fluids with foods. This can cause dehyddration and that can help dry the mucous membranes in the nose leading to nose bleed. Make sure he is drinking water and not sugar or caffeine containing drinks (both increase dehydration).

In rare cases, they can cause problems with platelets in the blood and increase nosebleeds and bruising in general. A simple blood test will rule this out.

Either way, the doc needs to know.
