My son is already overly emotional - meltdowns etc... and aggressive. I wouldn't want him to get any worse in those areas!
Thanks for letting me know.
The dr. is being very careful because of all the negative responses my son has had to different medicines. It's been rough for us, as parents. But I know that it is so much harder for him.

Granny Fran,
Can I ask what stimulant seems to work best for your son?
Thanks,
Kendra
My son is currently on adderall xr, 50 mg., our new doctor told us that kids
With sensory issues should not be on stimulants, because it causes the sensory
Issues to be worse. So we are trying to slowly get off of the adderall xr in the next 6 months and get him on Strattera. Strattera supposedly only stimulates the frontal lobe, to help with attention, whereas the stimulants light up the entire brain.
