The therapist made the diagnosis and our pediatrician (who is a long timer and agrees thus far) prescribed the meds. However, we believe that we have reached the limit of our the therapist's capabilities and will be requesting a referral to a psych who can perhaps make a more comprehensive diagnosis. My fear is that he may have BP and that IS NOT something we need to go un-treated.
But to answer your question, we have not had a full neropsych eval performed. Not sure what that is.
my daughter does not have any anger or aggression issue, but does also take Tenex for tics. She is SO much calmer. I agree to look into it. Just curious who diagnosed your sone and did he have a full neurospych evaluation? Are his langauage skills age level? I mean communicative/expressive language not reading.Whoops..forgot that part of the question..
