BLAH.
I increased my dose of Wellbutrin on Sunday (to 300mg) fully expecting the few side effects I have had to come back, but yesterday was pretty unpleasant.... I was nauseated off and on for part of the day and then late in the afternoon it started again. It hasn't gone away. I tried eating something (mashed potatoes), ginger ale, eating pieces of candied ginger but nothing is making it go away or even lessen significantly. I didn't actually try any medication for it because I assumed that would not help, although what do I know.... I was awake all last night because it was keeping me from going to sleep. I did manage to get a couple of hours of sleep this morning.
I took 150mg today and left a message for my doc wondering if I could alternate doses for a few days (150mg one day, 300mg the next, etc). He won't be back until tomorrow so I will try and take the 300mg tomorrow morning. I know the side effects are temporary, but I can't lose sleep and I have to go work at a trade show out of town this weekend. I would prefer to be feeling OK and be able to work (even if I don't feel WONDERFUL).
I do like what Wellbutrin has done for me so I want to figure out a way to make this work.
ask your pharmacist. I am sure there is something over the counter for nausea that would be ifne to take.
