you just HAVE to laugh | ADHD Information

ok, just thought I'd share.

Daughter comes home from school today and tells me she had health. She HATES it because it is so boring. Mind you she's 12 and they're studying human sexuality and puberty, so it's the GROSSEST thiing you've ever heard . She tells me I had health last semester so the teacher told me to just sit there and not pay attention. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, who tells an ADHD kid to sit there and not pay attention . How bad is that. Mind you 2 days ago I got a progress report stating how she needs extra out of class time spent on typing, math facts and reading. So hmmmmmmmmmm, maybe we could use better use of the repeat health time than sit there and just dont pay attention!

Thank god it's almost summer .

  Who tells any kid to just sit through a class and not pay attention???
