so for any-one who read my last topic it looks maybe my dd is med..sencitive

and as we have already taken concerta then changed meds we r back to concerta 18mg for wendesday n thursday then till the 24th kim will be taking concerta 27mg the 24th we have an app. with a neoraligist and doc. said they will examin her and perscribe me more concerta or what ever the neo feels will help

BUT my question is,is it normal to change back to a med. who has stopped working for kim?

and what should i exspect at an app. with a neo.its our 1st ever to see one

thank you and maybe it looks like i should have asked the doc.but i tried i just was so scared of dd doughter taking of down the hall way that i ended up leaving with less then i would have liked to know thanks

The doc may be going back to the concerta because it worked for a bit before it stopped. There are stratagies to augment it and reduces the side effects that the doc may have in mind.

I agree with Vickie! My son started with concerta but too many side effects(sleep/eating stuff) so we went to adderall. Adderall xr was so much worse that the doctor started us back on concerta, moved up quick with the mgs. and added guanfacine to smooth everything out.

He has been at the same dose for over 2 1/2 years now. We are, however, in need of an increase!!

I have a suggestion for you. I always write down a list of all the stuff to discuss with a doctor BEFORE I go into the appointment. That way, if I get fuzzbrain I can just work my way down the list.

You might want to try that before you see the neuro
we have gone back to meds a few times while we sorted things out. Sometimes it is worth a try to go with something you know and treat the side effects or stay with them if they are manageable until a new decicison is made.
