Does anyone know of any drug interactions between Adderall and Zegerid? My doctor recently started me on Zegerid for acid reflux, and I have been having some side effects which are listed for both drugs, but that did not start until after I began taking the Zegerid, a few weeks ago. I read somewhere that you shouldn't take antacids while taking adderall....I'm trying to figure out if the side effects are a result of the Zegerid, or a result of the combination of the two drugs. Side effects are headaches, stomach cramps, and shortness of breath.
Things that alter the pH of the stomach (antacids, citrus juice) affect the absorption of other meds. Can you take the Adderall an hour before you take the Zegerid? I have to do this with my thyroid med and my stomach med.
