Slurring on Ritalin | ADHD Information

I found myself talking in a jerky hesitant manner....almost stuttering a little.  I have not, but if it does not subside it probably warrants a call to your doctor. Neurological side effects can occur with stimulants.Slow release Adderall caused me to do everything slow.  Instant release Adderall causes me to stutter.  Personally, they were all signs of induced anxiety due to the meds, hence the fact that they speed up the central nervous system.  I added lexapro 6 months ago, and the combination has been great.  Even fast acting anxiety meds such as benzos will do the trick, talk to your doctor.I am taking about 20 mg of Ritalin a day and people have noticed that I have been slurring a bit. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to combat it?
