Finally, I hope I'll start being normal !
Dr. put me on Adderall for the ADD
Cymbalta for my depression
and low and behold I find out I have high blood pressure so I am on Benicar for that.
I go back in a month to see well I'm doing on meds , keep your fingers crossed for me.
Hopefully you are on your way to successful treatment. Do not get discouraged if it takes a while to get the meds taylored to your individual needs. It wi well worth the trip. You might ask about the posibility of Tenex (guanfacine) for your blood pressure. It has some benefits for ADHD symptoms and anxiety, as well as being a blood pressure med. Just a thought.

Right now I'm happy that I have the Cymbalta & Benicar had I not had it while waiting at the pharmacy I think I would have blown a fuse lol They can't fill my Adderall , waited for two and half hours to find out it has to be pre authorized and you know how slow doctors offices are doing that errr . Probably won't get script filled until Tuesday. I've gone without it this long I guess a few more days won't kill me.

Well, I went back for the Adderall & paid the cash out of pocket geesh it cost 4.00 for 25 pills. Found out that my doctor has to call the insurance people and verbally tell them/or fax that I need this medicine before they will fill it - bunch of sh*t ! I obviously need it or she would not have written the prescription. lol
Anyway, I've been on the meds for two days and already see a difference in myself. I feel great and yesterday was awsome I didn't yell once at the kids, I focused and got some stuff done and my kitchen is clean yeah!
So all is good. The next thing on my to do list is get the insurance thing cleared up for next months script.

Wow! That stinks that the insurance company is like that! I'm very lucky we have suck an awesome plan and company. I pay .00 for Generic and .00 for Brand name. I went to pick up my new dose/refill of Focalin XR yesterday. I was given 90 pills (15 mg capsules) to take two in the am and 1 at noon-1pm. My insurance's portion paid out 7.00 for that! I just about died seeing that number! Very greatful that it wasn't me that had to pay it too.I'm very happy to hear that it's working so well for you! I hope you get the insurance thing straightened out soon.
I would just like to know how old you are. Had you suspected problems for a very long time?
I'm 42 , yes I've always known I was different from everyone else. I just didn't realize what it was until my son was showing the symtoms of ADHA and I began my research on it.

Ever thought of trying Phosphatidyl Serine?? We think it is nothing short of a miracle! Maybe worth a consideration. Huge thread on alternative and complimentary medicine. I am not normally a bio med fan! BUT, this one is a bit different and very fast acting, you would know if it was gonna help you after just one dose! Like I say, just a thought! Good luck!
