I have heard really great things about this program too. It's really expensive though but worth looking into.
WOW!!!! that SOAR camp looks great! If my daughter was physically able to handle that I'd start saving now for next summer .my sister was going to send her 16 yr old DD this summer but unfortunately she is just to depressed and unstable right now to send her off somewhere. poor girl...she's going through a terrible time right now. my poor sister just doesn't know what to do.
Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Pretty much the same thing has gone on here. I got him a guitar, and thought that might help some. He doesn't like it. He says that he would rather take something natural for his attitude part. Are there vitimans that help.
Thanks
Many times this type of reaction comes out of frustration, and maybe even a feeling you are not in control of a situation. may be a good option! You should first seek advice with your doctor before entering your child into bootcamp for teens with adhd. devilmaycry40847.2624537037Hi Everyone,
To make a super long story short. I have a 16 year old son who is ADD/ADHD. I am having a extremely hard time with him not taking his meds, doing poorly in school, no respect and everything else. I'm pretty sure you all know what I am trying to say :) and I can't take it anymore. Does anyone know about Teen Boot camp for ADHD and or Has anyone put their kid in it??
Thanks for your help
I feel for you Lorjune and hope there is something out there for you I dread the teen years to come. I wish they had boot camp in canada.I do not know how they handle ADHD kids. I know fo 2 teens that did Teen Boot camp and did very well. I would do a lot of research though, your ADHD child may not be able to hadnle that environment, it's not for everyone.Thank You, Yeah that is true, Yes I am doing extreme research on it :)
Hi Lorjune;
