I am still in the middle of this book but I am very interested.  It talks about attachment and that ADD kids are so, by nature, the ones with lots of negative feed back. He goes on about early attachment and how these kids are such a mystery.  How one year they do well with particular teacher and the next they spiral out of control.  He talks of much hope for repairing the brains of ADD kids. 
My two ADD'ers are adopted and most likely did not come from happy loving mothers.  Many of us have so much stress in our lives that the essential infant mom communication did not occur.  This book gives ways to repair that relationship.  It is a book full of hope.  I think a must read for all parents of ADD kids and adoptive parents as well.
