Strattera AND Concerta. | ADHD Information

So while I was switching over from Strattera to Concerta, I weened from 80mg/day to 40 mg/day, with my last dose of Strattera on Saturday. That is also the same day I started Concerta, 54mg.

That one day, I experienced what I hoped I would find when I started taking meds for ADHD. I felt clear headed. I was able to be in the moment with my family. I even had an intimate experience with my wife without wandering off to a thousand places in the middle of it.

Since removing Strattera from my diet, the Concerta seems to be less effective. I asked my doctor if the combination of drugs could have anything to do with my level of clarity for that one day, and he said it's quite possible, and to start taking Strattera again in concert with Concerta.

Does anyone else do this? It seems unusual to me.
