Immunity to Ritalin | ADHD Information

DianeV is right, many, many people report initial ease in symptoms, only to have them return after a short time.  Usually an increase will take care of it.  Once the optimum dose is acheived, the benefits will stick with you.

Talk to your doctor about an increase in the dose, or perhaps a long acting version of the ritalin will do the trick....concerta or ritalin LA would allow for only one dose a day instead of having to take an additional pill in the middle of the day.

Ritalin is not determined by weight. Quite often people do find immediate relief of sympto,s (especially compared to no meds) then have to increase the dose it just be that you need a dose change. I would talk it over with your doctor.Hey All,
So I've been on Ritalin for about a month or more now at a dose of 10 mg 2x a day. However, I am finding that little by little, it is starting to have no affect on me any more. It used to help me an insane amount... I was reading novels by the handful... and now I find myself losing that edge and slipping back into old ADD habits... anyone else experience this or know what to do ?

oh and if it makes a difference.. I am 5'2", 22 yr old, about 110 lbs..

Thanks!
