I can add my son's teacher and principal to the Yahoo - their leaving list as well
It is good to look at the positive side of things!
Hey longsally, who is the crappy kid?She is the kid he went to private kindergarten with. My ds came home one day (a month after her mother and I stopped talking) and told me noone would play with him. Found out that this child waged a war telling the other kids that he was nasty, ate boogers, anything she could think of to get the other kids not to play with him. I told her off ( not too bad) in front of the other kids. She also told my neighbor that her mommy said I was " a bitch" if that gives you any idea about the family.
I got my son an exception to another public school amd low and behold, they did too. I made sure they were in seperate classrooms. The father of that child went up to my son and tried to speak with him and when my son didnt, told him that it was ok, he could just do the thumbs up sign and it would be their secret!!!! I almost went up to their daughter to do the same thing but figured if I did, they would somwhow get me in trouble. They know to put them in seperate classrooms but all the first graders recess together and I am afraid for him that she will do the same thing again.
I am happy for all of you and sad for myself as my DS still has to deal with that crappy kid from last year. We both got exceptions again to the same school.Well I can celebrate with you all officially! My daughters terrible SPED teacher from this year will NOT be back next year. All year I kept thinking my complaining about her specifically was going to make me look bad. Like I wasnt reasonable just because I didnt like her..........which I didnt..........guess it wasnt just me .
I am so glad no other children or their parents have to suffer through a year with her!
I'll bring a whole keg! THERE IS JUSTICE!!!
I found out last week that the "head of school" who was so horrible to my daughter resigned (we've already switched schools). There was also a mother of a classmate who said very ugly things about my daughter to many people - they had to leave school because the husband was convicted of embezzlement and no longer could afford private school. Don't get me wrong, I don't find happiness in knowing that a family is ruined because of a father's greed, however I hope that many lessons were learned and the wife has become more humble and understanding of others' circumstances.
It's easier to forgive those who have caused you to cry buckets of tears when you know they're getting their just dues.
Count me in!
We could throw a party to celebrate all the transferring or retiring school staff who have agrevated us over the years. I'll bring the beer!
Wooo-Hooo for you!! It's like getting the gift you always wanted.
We didn't think we'd ever get rid of her because she's a minority and a woman and the school system, at least around here, tiptoes around when someone could cry discrimination. Wow, does that sound familiar, except that around here we're looking for a few teachers to leave, and THAT UNION is SOOOO strong, it'll never happen unless they commit murder!
WOO-HOO for Y-O-U!!
Is getting transferred!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been having the worst pms-y day, but then I got this great news- I'm feeling much more cheerful now. A teacher friend of mine just saw it listed in her school's office and called to tell me. I have been having the worst time with this principal- she doesn't return phone calls, claims to be having "problems" with her email, and "forgets" conversations. She even skipped out on a conference she was supposed to sit in on. I was so ticked that I called her boss. But I have to say that her condesending tone of voice is the worst: it makes me want to strangle her.
DID I MENTION SHE'S LEAVING!!!!!!!!
We didn't think we'd ever get rid of her because she's a minority and a woman and the school system, at least around here, tiptoes around when someone could cry discrimination. Now I'll just cross my fingers about her replacement. . .
That sounds like it is good news!Let's celebrate together!! My ignorant principal is finally RETIRING!!! What a joke she was! She was so outdated.
She was my b-inlaws and s-inlaws math teacher and they hated her when she was younger. What a nightmare she is. And when my husband would talk to her, she was just so ignorant. It was horrible.
She also lied and I have a real problem with that. I never could get past that after I caught her in the first lie, but who wouldn't believe a principal, they are just so honorable, right!
Hopefully, the replacement will be better!
I had a similar revolting principal as my boss and because I had age and confidence on my side, he felt very intimiated. Unfortunately I was the one who left.
I could have made a big song and dance but at the time my son who in deep dark depression and I was far too emotional.
After 3 years of feeling sad about it all I've found out he too is leaving. He's been getting progressively sick over the past 12 months and has been forced to give up his job. I didn't wish this on him - I'm not that nasty - but karma is a live and kicking.
Good luch with the new principal - what a difference a change can make!!!
