Natural ADHD Medicine | ADHD Information

Has anyone ever tried a natural drug approach? My son was on Adderall XR for 6 and a half months. It worked well for a while, then he began to have raging tantrums. His pediatricin said sometimes when stimulants buildup in the system they could have episodes of rage. So I took him off the adderall. The doctor said to try concerta. I gave it to him and he can't eat at all while taking that. Now he's drug free and it's a challenge, but were managing day by day. Now that he's off the meds hes eating so well. I could tell he enjoys food again. He tells me I don't want to take that pill then I can't eat, it's heartbreaking he's 8 years old. He has also gained 5 pounds  since being off the meds. Any suggestions??  Thanks  Ask the doctor about Wellbutrin.  It calms me down more than it allows me to focus, but at least I still eat, and feel like myself.

My daughter takes tricyclic antidpressants (Nortryptiline or Desipramine). Not a natural supplement, still a prescription med, but it is prescribed for ADHD and wont' give appetite suppression.
