go on adderall again?? | ADHD Information

I am on wellbutrin (300mg one a day extended release) and just started Aderall.  I am at trying 20mg adderall, twice a day.  For me, this seems to be working although I may drop down to 15mg, twice a day because of sleeping.  One thing I have learned from experience and especially from this forum is that these drugs affect every individual differently.  Talk to a psychiatrist and get their advice.last fall I was diagnosed with ADHD in the first percentile and it was made
pretty clear that I would need medication to help me. at first i was on just
15 mg XR per day, until at school, my new prescriber put me on 30mg a
day generic, and then within just a few weeks, 60mg per day generic.
Shortly after that, he continued to increase my pill quantity from 60 pills
to 75 until finally he gave me 80. (each 20mg pills)

at first, up until he prescribed me 60mg, everything was fine. I was doing
well in school for the first time (university) and my social life actually
began to blossom. after 60mg though it began to feel like drugs and i
was quickly in trouble from lack of sleep.

i have been off the drugs for 6 mths and im now on wellbutrin. ive heard
these two drugs combine well together and im wondering if it would be a
mistake to retry the adderall at a regular dosage with a better doctor?

Is a psychiatrist doing your prescribing?
