My son has a summer cold and takes 5 mg of Focalin XR. What do some of you do when your child can't breath through their nose and is sniffling non stop?
Many of the over the counter meds say not to mix with certain meds. I'm looking for a safe and cost effective way to help my son feel more up to snuff.
Maybe I should just take him to the doctor. I guess I'm just not wanting to spend money for something I may be able to help him with my self. Does this make sense?
Steam.Steam and Vicks Vapo rub, I swear Vicks will cure anything....lol
I also give DD airborn, but only for a day or so, too much Vit C to take longer than that.
The pharmacist recommended over the counter Claritin for us. My daughter cant take anything that raised heart rate OR that causes fatigue like Benadryl.
Yep, the pharmacist said not to take Benadryl because it wouldn't react well with my son's med. He mentioned that it can cause a hyper reaction. I wonder if he was referring to heart beat as well.
