Thanks for the reply. For the most part my husband has felt the same way. We just need to give it more time. Has anyone been on it longer than 3 months would like to know how you feel.
As for my daughter, I am taking school papers, and a check sheet that her teacher filled out. Is there anything I should be prepared for at her doctor visit? I am expecting it to be kinda like my husbands. But that doctor just went off of what we told him. Any info welcome she is 9.
My husband (31) has been on Strattera for 3 1/2 weeks. He hates to take medicine but has agreed that it is starting to help him with patients, focus, and being happy. He was a nail biter that has stopped. It takes alot to get him angery, but this past week he has gotten so upset it was like a rage. The doctor has prescribed ritiln (?bad spelling) for a month untill Strattera is entirly in his system and then he will be able to control his emotions. Has anyone else had this problem? Did it go away?
My daughter will probably start taking Strattera also this week. Some long term sucess stories would be helpfull right now.
I wouldn't say I had rage problems on straterra, but I was well on my way. Keep a good eye on him as my irritability got extremely bad until I had to stop taking it. it also caused problems at work as I became very disagreeable with my boss and almost cost me myjob. the bad part is I did notice it until I am off the strattera and looking back.
