tired and zoned outyes, it is true of ritalin as well...Perhaps a different dose or a change in type of medicine would help.....Sometimes it does take the body a couple of days to adjust to the medicine though....so maybe trying it for a couple of days before switching would be a good idea. Asking your son how he feels at various times of the day and logging it to bring to the dr. would probably be beneficial as well. Good luck!
Thanks for the anwers. He seems to be doing better. Unfortuately this is our only choice, there is no other kind of meds where we live. This will just have to work. His teacher thinks it is better and is very pleased with the results. I do not notice much of a change because by the time he has come home the meds have worn off. Oh well, I am so use to him bouncing off walls I hardly notice it anymore. When people tell me I have my hands full I wonder what they are talking about . It seems normal to me. thanks again. |
