Can only a Psychiatrist give you Adderall | ADHD Information

any doctor can prescribe it, but I recommend having your meds prescribed by some one who specializes in ADHD and it's meds in case it doesnt go that smoothly.

I have a question, can I go to a regular doctor to get Adderall, or must I only go to a Psychiatrist to get it?

My wife and I usually go to a psychiatric nurse practitioner (pnp).  They can prescribe.  Mainly because their schedules are usually much easier to get into.  But they are usually less expensive.  They also really know their medicines and work with them every day.
