Daytrana vs. Adderall XR? | ADHD Information

Daytrana and Adderall are completely different meds. Daytrana is Methylpheidate, and Adderall is Dexamphetamine. Some kids respond differently to them both so it really depends on YOUR experience with them. What is your childs diagnosis?

  I'm new to this forum. My ds was just switched from a Daytrana 10mg to Adderall XR 5mg b/c of really violent/aggressive evening outbursts. Has anyone else had this experience with Daytrana, and how do you all feel about the Adderall XR?
