Congratulations, take any win you can get. There will be more of them.
Hooray! That is the best feeling!
I was so thrilled when mine came home and said "I stayed in the green (good behavior) all day!"
Your son should be very proud!
Just had to share a positive! We made it through the first week of school with no mishaps!
My son (now 8) is on Concerta 27mg, and just started the 3rd grade. After last school year, I will take all of the little triumphs I can get. This week we have had good reports all week, and no notes or phone calls home. He's a little hyper and wound up by the time he gets home, but as long as he is doing well in school I think I can handle it. I don't want him to be on too much meds. Right now we are having zero side effects. He eats good, hasn't lost any weight, and still sleeps well at night. So until the hyper starts interferign with homework, I think we're good.
I think it helps too that I had the Guidance counselor and a teacher that really knows my son to place him in the proper class. They wroked with him over the summer in the school daycare, and really got to know him. So they placed him with a teacher that they thought would best help him this year. So far so good. He is enjoying school and is so proud of himself for havign done so well thsi first week.
So, I just had to share. Thanks for listening. I don't always post, but I read them almost everyday.
That is awesome!!!
