Question on a Ritalin side effect | ADHD Information

I just started to take Ritalin LA for the first time a week and a half ago. I am 24 years old and it seems like right when I take Ritalin, within a couple of hours I am so sleepy. I took it just today and within 1 hour was so tired, I took a nap for 3 hours. Is this normal or just a weird side effect? I would really appreciate a reply back from anyone who knows.
amelody39320.9269212963my daughter did not fall asleep on Ritalin LA, but some people do have this side effect. If after 2 weeks you are still suffering daily sedating effects from any med I would call your doctor.
