8 year old won’t sleep even with meds! | ADHD Information

I need help!!!!!! My 8 year old daughter had ADHD. She is on Metadate CD 40mg, Fluoxetine 20mg, Methelphenidate 20mg in the afternoon, and Melatonin 3mg and Clonidine .1mg at night. No matter what I do she is always giving me problems. She starts school today, I went to get her out of bed and found  her downstairs. She was wide eyed and excited to tell me she watched 3 movies last night and took some leftover mac and cheese to eat. We also have to lock our pantry and our refridgerator so she doesn't gorge herself on food in the middle of the night. My husband and I are at our wits end with her! We don't know what to do! Can anyone help?

My child phsychiatrist told me we can safely give our son uo to 10 mg of Melatonin. He is on 5 right now(since he started meds) and it seems to be doing the trick if uping the dose doesn't help I would call your doc back and tell him something isn't working. We ALL need our sleep!I would lower the Melatonin. Smaller doses seem to work better, and over 3 mgs daily can cause nightmares.
