Vyvance + Headache? | ADHD Information

Share
Hi all,

I am new to the forum. I started taking Vyvance 30mg. a few days ago switching from Adderall. I am thrilled with the results. Except for a headache that seems to be growing in intensity.

I had to stop Adderall because it aggravated my hiatal hernia. Plus, it seemed to have stopped being effective.

Will this headache go away with time and aspirin? I had to stop dexedrine for similar reasons.

ThanksMy son had a daily headache with Focalin. He took one Tylenol and one
Advil daily and it took care of it. That was for TWO years. Dr. said as long
as the Focalin was working, just treat the headace.

Once we changed to Ritalin LA, the headaches stopped. Are you able to
get rid of the headache with pain meds? Is the Vyvanase working well
enough that the headache is just a nuisance that you can live with (In my
opinion, that would mean the headace would GO AWAY with Tylenol and/
or ibuprofen.)

I know I'm not addressing Vyvanase in particular. Just thought I'd share
our HEADACHE with you!

Thanks for the response.

Actually yesterday, I took 2 Tylenol in the morning and 2 in the afternoon and no headache!

Still seeing GREAT results with Vyvance. Hope it lasts the long haul...

I started taking vyvance just a few days ago and I believe it is working quite well, I took Adderall before about 8 months ago and did not feel like myself, everything was slower but almost too slow, I felt kinda depressed as it started to wear off..plus I seemed to get alot of "strains" in my muscles that were crazy and so I thought I'd better just fight my battle without meds....very tough, I have 2 kids well 3 if you count the loser...oh I mean husband...STRESS!!! big time."I feel like my brain is going to explode daily...and couldn't  get hardly anything done because I didn't know where to start there was just too much scattering around inside...But , the Vyvance seems to work very long and I am able to once again focus on one thing at a time and not get crazy over it....
