Does Anger come from concerta | ADHD Information

My son is going downward fast.    He is back on concerta 36 mg and prozac and he is just mean and angry about nothing.  He now thinks he can do what he wants when he wants with no consequences.  He could care less about consequences.  He is diffiant with his father and me and now being violent with us especially at the end of the day.  Not sure how to handle this anymore.  I feel him slipping away fast and just spinning out of control.  I hear concerta can do this.  I am also going to start watching his diet to see if that helps.  I just wish there was a cure all fix to keep him calm and safe! STUCK39357.4253240741I would call the Psych. it certainbly can be a "side effect" when it is the wrong med, or wrong combo of meds. meds or med doses can certainly affect mood. Does he have co-exisitng conditons? I assume so since the Prozac. You should discuss with his doctor.
