List Age: 26

List Gender: Female

List Medication: Adderall, melatonin

List Amount Taken and Often: 10mg, twice a day (15 mg if i am having a very bad day or long morning).  3 mg of melatonin at bedtime

Describe any change when on medication:  I am staying on top of my job, i am less stressed, more organized, and much more relaxed.  I don't feel as stressed from trying to keep up from anything and everything.  If i set my mind to something I can actually accomplish it.  I tend to wander around less.  The first day back on it, i stayed in my classroom for so long, the secretaries thought I had left.  I feel like I am in control of who I am and what I do instead of being controlled by my impulsiveness

List any Side Effects: dry mouth, decreased appetite (I have learned to eat even if not hungry at normal times and normal amounts to keep from loosing too much weight)

Now my son has not been on for more than a 2 week straight period of time. He has chosen to go off the meds for some reason he can't tell us. He makes himself sick and actually throws them up when he try's during the week for school, but on weekends no problem. Figure that one out. We can't.

Male

Concerta

36 mg once a day

More focused, no trouble in school, grades good (YEAH!).  Still a little impulsive, but not to the point he gets into trouble.

MALE
Vyvanse, 30 MG,   Zoloft, 50 MG (anxiety)

Vyvanse, taken @ 7:30 AM, Zoloft, taken @ bedtime

Change on meds:  calmer, able to focus, not fooling around in school (as much :)

Side effects:  The first couple of days he was really tired, and cranky, some anxiety.  these have faded away.  I gave him the weekend off last week and Mon he was so tired , he couldn't stay awake.  This weekend, I gave him Sun off, and he seemed fine this AM.

Interesting, though, his "friends" that were used to hiim fooling around and getting in trouble with, made comments to him about his new behavior and they were not happy that he has started to be able to make better choices.
