I'm actually on both. I take the wellbutrin daily and the adderall to supplement it "as needed" to study, etc.
Wellbutrin has helped my anxiety, as well as depression, and has helped my adhd symptoms to some extent, but like I said, I still need the adderall on occasion. The adderall actually helps with my anxiety as well- I'm not as prone to forgetting things and I don't worry about getting my work done because I am able to focus on it.
But, like the others said, everyone reacts to meds differently.
no she isnt, she took it with Concerta and Wellbutrin raises the methylphedinate level in your blood and was causing too many side effects, the Wellbutrin alone wouldnt cut it for attention and staying on task, so she went off both and used Desipramine for several months, worked for most things, but now that school is back in, it's not cutting it for the amount of focus and attention she needs for school. So we're back on stimulants alone......for now........we'll see how her anxiety is, only been a few days.for my daughter adderall was worse on anxiety, but as edbson says all meds are different and all meds are different with each individual. Has your daughter continued on WB. I realize both are different coupounds however in a sense WB is a stimulant derivative.
Which is worse on anxiety Wellbutrin or Adderall XR? Any thoughts are welcomed.
