Drugs tapering off? | ADHD Information

I am seriously at my wits end with my daughter.  She is 5 and is on Vyvanse.  She started the Vyvanse in July and is now on 30mg and it is not NEARLY as effective as it was when we first started it.  Last December my dr. put her on Concerta and the first couple of weeks she did ok on it for awhile and then it didn't work at all for her...so we've switched to Vyvanse and the first 3 months I couldn't believe how different she was!  Now the past 2-3 weeks she's been a nightmare!  Especially in the evenings.

I am going to talk to my ped about giving her something in the evening to help calm her down.  It takes about 1-2 hours to get her to fall asleep, and this is no matter what time she goes to bed.

Any advice?

It is possible it is not the right med/dose. Has she seen a Psychiatrist, or a Neuropsychologist? If not I would HIGHLY recommend seeing one to get an accurate diagnosis, and appropriate med management. Peds, although they mean well are not trainedin ADHD or the meds used. They are Body Dr's, not Brain Dr's.
