If your son has a teacher that can work with you, you shouldn't need a
special school. But you may need to figure out medication, which can make
it possible to function in a regular classroom setting.
For my grandson, success in school requires that his teacher gives him more
structure. And she keeps in very close contact with me which is a great way
to keep track of behavior.
I would suggest that your first step is to see a psychiatrist or pediatric
neurologist to get him evaluated for medication.

Hi All

I have recently discovered my son is suffering from ADHD. I am looking for a school who can accommodate kids like my son. We are in the JHB area in South Africa. My son is in Grade 7. I need imformation on how to get contacts of schools that can deal with these special need kids. Any info will be highly appreciated
