What does your job description say? If you're complaining about being given these repetetive task you should be sure that they are not included in your job description.
Also, keep in mind that companies expect to hire "team players" these days- that means pitching in with things that aren't nessecarily your expertise when needed.
There are things that are difficult about any job and my attitude has always been to just suck it up- unless it's an integral part of your job that you are unable to focus on I would not disclose the adhd dx and ask for accomodations. I know it's illegal, but it's also very hard to prove descrimination in cases like this. Just my 2 cents.

What steps does someome need to do when asking for reasonable accommodations at work?
I have researched the internet and seems like getting a collage degree would be easier.
I work part time as a draftsman and I have a lot of "down time" with nothing to do. I started doing cad drafting tutorials on my laptop while I am working for an assignment. I complained to the employment agence that got me the job about having to do repitive task jobs that have nothing to do with drafting. It got back to my boss and he is giving me the silent treatment. I am 56 year pld male and he is in his upper forties. I have a feeling he is going to tell me I can't do tutorials on my laptop any more.
It looks like an awful long, drawn out proceedure to ask for reasonable accommodations at work.

I was looking for an answer to a simple question. I asked what the steps were in asking for reasonable accommodations at work. I was not looking for a lecture. Your insensitive reply didn’t even come close to what I was asking about.

I have a disability. Repetetive tasks are just what people with Ault ADD can't cope with. What planet are you from? You have no idea of what you are talking about. Do you have any idea how many people with Adult Add quit jobs because they can't deal with boredom?
I also have Bi-polar Depression. Should I just "suck up" my mood swings?
I told people at work that I have Adult ADD so they would stop rolling their eyes in discust and treating me like I'm stupid.
I don't feel bad and stupid enough at work I have to come here to get told to just "suck it up" Do you even know what Adult ADD is?
