Daytrana Question | ADHD Information




	Daytrana Question My son in on the 10mg patch. He is doing well on it. But as I was sitting around and thinking I was wondering this question. My son takes swimming lessons during the summer. What about the patch? Can he swim with it on or do I have to take it off? It will be bad if he can't do his swimming lessons. Does anyone have a answer for this? Thanks. Anita My DD swims, plays softball, showers etc with the patch on and has had No problems with it coming off. We don't do meds in the summer, but even if we did it wouldn;'t be a problem. The patch "works" for 3 hours once it is removed anyway. Thats good to hear. I usually sign him up for morning lessons and I guess I can try to do it in the late afternoon/early evening lessons after I take it off. Last summer he was drug free and only got back on for the school year. I will have wait and see if this upcoming summer he can be drug free. For the summer we used xlarge water proof bandages that fit over the patch. Look at some of the older threads ... there are lots of recommendations.
