dexadrine is a form of amphetemine, which is a stimulant. Dexadrine has addictive qualities, which is one of the harsher side effects. The reason why I choose to stay away from ahphetemines is because they have the potential to increase anxiety (as all stimulants do). This could be a problem because an estimated 25% of all adhd'ers also have anxiety problems.
