HI I am new here - my eldest age 7 1/2 has ADHD she is on strattera and that was luckily the first drug we tried, Her kindergarten teacher suggested that she might have ADHD and we wanted to watch her to see if it wasn't just a stage - her first grade teacher wasn't to helpful though thankfully she did fill out the paper work we needed to get her evaluated and tested. It explains so much of her behavior and she is doing alot better... I will probably have questions as I go but was glad to find a place to talk with others who understand what we are all going through

Welcome! It is nice to see when a med works right away. We tried FocalinXR and it worked for us great on the lowest dose. It's a nice feeling. Check out the marbles thread it is a good one(we use coins). I have a 9 year old with ADHD and ADjustment disorder with anxiety and depression. We just started him on Zoloft for the anxiety and depressed moods. Going well so far. Good Luck to you.
Thanks it has been difficult but at least we Know why she acts the way she does, insted of just thinking she is being a trouble maker. It has helped alot.
