does anybody have info. on dexedrine spansules? my son is on 15mg. and i'm interested in other opinions on this med. thanks.
Hi, my 8 year old son just started on 10 mg yesterday. He seemed very spacey and did not sleep a wink. Today he's off school and pretty much just reading (which is what he did all night). Other stimulants have had a similar affect with him. I'm going to give it a few more days. Other posts I've read seem to indicate that some of the side effects go away after a bit.
How has your experience been?
he's been on it for about 2 months now. feedback from school is very positive, able to focus, pay attention.. yet he really has no appetite and has a really jard time falling asleep.. i'm also noticing a facial tic.
If you are noticing tics you need to tell your doctor right away, he might want to add or change the medication.
