Whilst I had hi bp, I took Inderal with all my other meds.
I figured it was either the anti-d's or me being overweight.
However, when I got divorced then remarried, I no longer had hi bp.
I also didn't have depression, so I'm no longer on bp meds nor anti-ds.

Has your doctor mentioned Tenex? It's a blood pressure drug that is given to kids with ADHD to decrease hyperactivity (it's a side effect unrelated to the BP part). I'm not sure if it affects focus much, though, so it may not work for an adult. It might be worth asking the psychiatrist what the effects would be on you. as long as you take your BP medication you should be okay. I take Concerta and BP meds. If I could lose 30 pounds I could stop taking the BP meds. I am trying very hard now to stay away from fatty foods. Concerta has made a wonderful difference in my job. I was diagnosed with ADHD recently but have high blood pressure. Does anyone know what type of medication if any I should take?
