Hi...I'm new here and want to say hello to everyone.
I've taken the time to review the threads and topics for the last 6 monts or so and most of what I've read has been really insightful and helpful.
I've read in several threads that there is a relationship between Adderall and Nicotine/Smoking....someone mentioned that Adderall slowed the rate of nicotine absortion thus provoking an urge to smoke more....I believe someone else mentioned that Nicotine interferred with the way Adderall functions.....others just mention an increased urge to smoke, in some cases after having given it up for years.
I'm on 30 mg of Adderall XR and 40 mg of Celexa......about 6 months after starting treatment I started smoking again and I feel like I'm practically chain smoking.....
I'm really interested in learning more about the relationship between Adderall and Nicotine....can anyone point me towards any reliable data or studies that corroborate these claims?
