Concerta stopped working | ADHD Information

    Man why does it do this? It was doing so well and now it has no effect :(

anyone else go through this?
No effect at all or it's not working as well?  Has this happened before?  There's a posting on the parents board that kid can get off kilter this time of year.  It's entitled "interesting comment by doctor" or something close to that. I don't know how to do the link. That's what we're going through too!  My son, 8, has been on Concerta for a few months with great success and no side effects.  We found that the 27 mg was not quite enough, so the DR increased him to 36.  It worked fine for about 2 weeks, then it was like the switch shut off.  He acts like he is totally unmedicated.  We go for a med check today and will discuss.  I'll let you know what he says about the "just stopped working" thing!  The last thing I need over Christams break is to have him more wound up than normal!
