ommas39765.5257407407This does not seem possible that all those people have been diognosed with
ADHD. No one even knew what it was way back then. Who made this list it
can't even be confirmed. Some of these people I do believe have it like Jim
Carrey no questions about that nut. To his advantage of course. This was meant to be a light-heated thead. Of course, nothing is proven. That's why I was sure to put that it was an "unofficial" list.O.K. sorry I didn't read the post carefully enough, my mistake. It's good to
have some light-hearted stuff on here too. Thanks for that. I always have a problem with labelling historical figures with mental diseases. [yes I know it's fun]

For example there's absolutely no historical evidence that Socrates had any problems with focusing/hyperactivity/attentional struggles-in fact, quite the opposite.

Unless someone was there to do a diagnosis--and diagnosticians often don't even agree--it's not really applicable.

Now someone WITH a diagnosis that's been quite public is Lee Evans the comedian. If ya wanna see ADHD at it's finest--google him--he's amazin'
MetisRebel39427.4818865741I went through that list twice and did not see Robert Downey Jr. Now don't
ya think he's got it too? I sure do.   And what about Britney Spears, she used
as her defense recently. LOL
To Metis Rebel I see you are in Canada I'm in California. I'm taking my son
there for Christmas to Toronto. How's the weather? Maybe we should
arrange a house swap some time. LOL I like to go there to see family but
I'm not always thrilled to stay in their houses because of my son's ADHD.
They all think ADHD is a big fake thing made up by parents who have kids
they can't control. Sorry for messy notes here our new little kitten keeps
hitting the screen. By the way how do we post our pet photos on here like
you do Cali? That was a cute cat photo.

Well, if that list is accurate, then ADHD is a good thing to have.

Seriously, ADHD or non-ADHD, have you ever noticed that people who achieve greatness - business, artists, thinkers, authors, all seem to think "out of the box", are non conformists and sometimes considered "odd" "nuts" or, if they have money, "ecentric"?

I have to agree - Tom Cruise is "nuts" but a cute nut

Yes, I agree with you on this point. My own son is such an extrovert and can
be extremely funny and so charming many times. He is very social and his
teachers have always been in awe that he has such an amazing vocabulary
for his age. In the mornings when he's not on his meds he can be so funny
and hysterical. Problem is you can't turn that off for school and that was
where he used to get in trouble before he started meds. At night when we
are getting him in his bath the meds are wearing off and that funny side
comes out. He can be going a mile a minute with so many different
thoughts at times I just hug him and laugh because I know he can't turn
himself off. Unfortunately at bedtime that can be a difficult problem.
