Delivered from Distraction is definitely a good read. I got that book by Dr. Hallowell just a few days ago, actually. I like his writing style. I'll have to read some of the messages on this board, too, and learn from their life experiences.
Yup, you have ADD. You are trying really hard to study but your mind keeps running off in tangents. Sounds like ADD to me.
Learning about it is a GOOD thing. Delivered from Distraction is a good book to start with. These forums are helpful too.
Hi, my name is Jason, and I am 31 years old. I’ve never really given much thought to the possibility of having Attention Deficit Disorder until a couple of months ago. Currently I have a tentative appointment with a psychiatrist next week. Hope this person knows what they’re doing. I really think I have some form of ADD.
