My 6 year old son complained of dizziness the first day, but not since then. He's been on Vyvanse for about 3 weeks now. I would check with the doctor if it is bothering her that bad. It could be affecting her blood pressure.
my 10 year old started vyvanse last month. this is his first med so I can't be too good of a judge. there were minimal side effects the first few days. It seemed to work right away and he still has a good appetite (but he always did) which makes me happy since the kid is skin and bones (yeah he eats like a pig and never gains an ounce... to be that lucky *sigh*). His grades have gone from c's and d's to a's, b's and a c (yeah in a month!) he's finally living up to his potential. he is still crazy disorganized, but doesn't hem and hall when i say "it's time to clean out your book bag".My 10 year old started Vyvanse 1 month ago. 30 mg once a day. We have seen much improvement on his focus, his attitude and his learning. The teachers are sending home *great day* memos every day. He is finishing all his class work on time and home work at after school care. AND even when he does have homework to bring home, he is not fighting me on doing it. ALSO i seem to only have to tell him 3 times instead of 5 to do things!
All and all, we are happy with the results of Vyvanse. I hope you have as much success with it as we have so far!

it sounds as if we are both talking about the same 10 year old! I'm thrilled with the results so far!

I am just happy its working and his teachers are seeing such improvement. He has an aide for 90 minutes a day to help him but they said he is doing more and more on his own and without prompting which is HUGE for Ryan. I have noticed even at home, when i tell him to do something he responds faster and with more ease.
We try to take one day at a time and the last 30 have been pretty good!!
jacks889739427.5713773148My son just started it yesterday and what a difference already. 30mg daily and I am to call the doc in 3 weeks and let her know how he is doing. Robbie was on Adderall, Concerta, and Ritalin in the past. Now that he is in puberty he needed a change. I hope this will be it.
