My sons Doc Appt | ADHD Information

Well Justin went to his doctor appointment and therapist today. His therapist gave a thing on a Parent Group that I am going to look into. Also FINALLY the doctors and therapists are all starting to see and agree that my sons aggression is totally offhand and something is in fact causing it.  So they are starting new evalutions on him and they did raise his medicine just a bit. She said honestly it needed raised for a few reasons its been a year and he has gained about 20 lbs and grown a few inches since on the medicine. So hopefully that will help keep him focused at school.  There is a few good things here everybody is FINALLY on the same page or getting there and it IS being delt with , and we are not all the way back to starting over.  I told the doctor and therapist both that I dont want to stop until we find out exactly whats causing the issues. No matter if its psychological, chemical or what it needs to be delt with before he gets older. She did agree the way his moods change and flip kinda leans towards Bi-polar also but she and I both agree on this lets make sure we cover EVERYTHING.  They are eval him for that also but they are also checking for other things such as ODD, bad nerves, ect. On a good note he had ran out of both medicines and he was fairly good for the most part. He wasnt to terribly out of hand.  Just kept him BUSY! If he does in fact have bi polar the ADHD meds could be causing the problems. Bi Polar needs to be stabilized before stims can be used.
