Adderall XR best choice | ADHD Information

I was prescribed adderall 30mg IR for ADHD a few years ago. I just went to
my doctor a few weeks ago and got them prescribed again. However, this
time I got the Barr generic 30 mg tabs and they have little to no effect
whatsoever. I remember a few years ago the adderall were a lot stronger. I
figured I would need to get the name brand adderall but I'm hesitant
because Barr makes the name brand ones too. I was pissed off to find out
that Shire sold the rights to Barr to make adderall. Next time I'm going to
get adderall XR 30mg because Shire makes them. I feel that Barr Pharm. is
ripping people off with their bullsh*t attempt of making adderall. Are the
Barr name brand pills any better than the generics? I pay cash for my
medication and I would rather pay more for REAL adderall than get
something that doesn't work.

Everyone reacts differently to these meds. The fillers (or excipients) in pills can affect the way the are absorbed for an individual. These excipients are different between the brand names and generics and between different generics. All of the tests they do to show equivalance are in test tubes not in people.

XR might be better or worse for you. THere are people who like the immediate release and others who do best on the extended release. Try it and see.
