This may be rebound (the symptoms coming back worse when the meds wear off). Rebound can be helped by taking a low dose of short acting med before the regular dose wears off (I do not know what this would be for vyvanse). If sleep is not an issue for you on your meds then a second dose of the vyvanse before the first wears off might work, or a second dose of strattera might be an option. An alternative would be to supplement with guanfacine. It works on hyperactivity, impulsivity etc. but not so much for attention. Talk to the doc about this and see what he/she wants to work on.
how long have you been on the added Strattera? Maybe spiltting the Strattera dose could help too. When/how do you take it?I been on Vyvanse 50 mg for 4 months now.. and when the Vyvanse wears off during the day.. i feel more hyper when the Vyvanse wears off.. I already tryed Adderall XR it made me very depressed and i already been on Concerta it didn't work at all..anyone having problems when the Vyvanse wears off? I haven't tryed Focalin XR yet.
any feedback would be great.
your truly,
If Vyvanse is wearing off something is wrong. Do you really have ADHD? I do
