You might talk to the doc about adderall or vyvanse to try a different class of meds. Just make sure you are not looking for the slight elated feeling that can happen for when some people are getting used to a new dose. This can go away and the person thinks the med is not working anymore even when it is.
I was recently on 30mg of Focalin xr. While taking the med, I was optimistic, goal driven, motivated. I just felt like I could achieve anything. But...I still had serious problems with paying attention. Now I'm taking 72mg of Concerta and I don't feel a thing. My attention span is still bad and I no longer have that happy-go-lucky motivation.
1. Is it abnormal the way I felt on focalin xr?
2. Should I give up on Concerta and try something else?
