I'm nervous, waiting for the dr. to call me back....
Two weeks ago, his teacher said Tyler kept yelling "stop following me" as if "someone" following him at recess, but he said he was just playing.
Then, last week "someone" was snoring in the closet. When the teacher asked him if he REALLY heard snoring, he said no. But when I asked him, he said "Yes, Someone was really snoring in the closet! Like someone was hiding and fell asleep and was snoring!" I asked him a couple different times over a couple different days and he insisted he heard the snoring.
This Monday, he was getting dressed and wouldnt put his shirt on. He asked me to look at his back and get the things off that were crawling all over him. He said bugs were crawling all over his back, chest, face and head. Even after I told him that I didnt see anything, he went into the bathroom to look in the mirror to try and see the bugs. He couldnt see them. Just feel them. In the car ride to the dr, he said "oh Mumma, they just fell off! I dont feel them crawling on me anymore."
We had a dr appointment that morning. I told the dr. But DS piped in saying "it was just a hair and it fell off on the way here." I'm not sure if he said that because he is thinking he knows nothing was there and was embarrassed, or what, but he didn’t sound overly concerned - just said we'd watch it. The dr. upped his Metadate from 20 to 30 mg.
Now, the teacher just called because DS came up to her to ask her if she can get rid of the flies flying around and on his head.
