Vyvanse ? from newly diagnosed adult | ADHD Information

After being diagnosed 5 months ago, doctor started me on 30 mg Vyvanse and slowly increased me to my current dosage of 70mg.  The changes were immediate and life altering!  It was like I was finally able to get off of the "hamster wheel" that was spinning uncontrollably for the last 30 years.

With that said, for the last two months or so I have felt like the Vyvanse is not working for me as well as it did early on in my treatment.  I am certainly far better off than I was prior to starting the Vyvanse but I can feel my symptoms occurring more frequently now as compared to the first 3 months on the med.  Interestingly, I am now finding myself ravenously hungry which seems to be contradictory to the typical side effect of Vyvanse.  For the first 3 months I had very diminished appetite.  Does this make sense?  I should mention that I have had no change in life circumstances and my stress level has not recently changed.

I'm looking for an experienced opinion on whether this is potentially:
1. Purely a placebo effect
2. Drug tolerance
3. Related to the higher dosage

I go to see my doc soon and would like to know more about this before I discuss it with him.  Thank you so much to anyone who can help me with this issue!
