Does my second child have ADHD too? | ADHD Information

I dont have any advice, but am on that brink of not knowing where my younger child is. Partly we get a little paranoid because our older children have ADHD. 2 is pretty young, but you can always start a behavior plan. That works for ALL kids. We'd be out of our mind with our youngest if we didnt have a strict schedule and solid behavior plan in place with her. You may want to read The Out of Sync Child, by Carol Kranowitz. Its for children with sensory processing disorders, but there are a LOT of exercises that you can implement into your play and they may help. Wont hurt and cheaper than paying a private OT for now anyway.Hi!
You might think I'm crazy for being so worried about my child since he's
only just turned 2, but he seems to have some of the same traits that his
6 year old ADHD-diagnosed brother has. I'm so concerned! He runs back
and forth in the house all day long, is impulsive, likes to tease, and has
very little attention span. The only difference between he and his older
brother is that my 2 year old actually listens well, responds to discipline,
and looks you in the eye when you talk. He is quite smart, very verbal
and understands everything.

My questions are:

- How likely is it that he also has ADHD given the above traits?
- Is it too early to get him into OT or other therapy since he appears to
need to be on the go?
- What else would you suggest at this point so that I can get a head-start
on any issues that he may have?
- My insurance (Kaiser) doesn't cover OT services so we'd be paying out
of pocket, but I'm willing to do that if it's needed and will help. Perhaps I
need to wait longer as I know many two year olds are active?
- Anyone have a hyper, unfocused boy who eventually outgrew it?

Thanks so much!
