Creating conflict

I get this eery feeling that I like to create conflict. Sometimes I think I'm going on these message boards just to rile people up so I can "energize" my brain. It's a scary thought, really. No wonder I have social trouble.

That's not to say that my advice is wrong. But it's something to think about.

hmmmm my friend I will keep that in mind when reading your posts

I love to play the devils advocate. Not because I'm evil, not because I get off on conflict, but because I have a really enquiring mind.
Maybe your superintelligent too!!
You fit the criteria of an undiagnosed genius

I like to think of it as "intellectually stimulating" rather than "energize."

Playing the devil's advocate is often fun... or so I tell my husband.

Life would be entirely too boring if everyone agreed on the same things. Just think of all the things we would be missing.

Oh monk, you're too kind. You flatter my ego. Admittedly it's not something I do all the time but I do get a certain satisfaction from telling people off.
