Does anyone have experiance with Adderal Xr and had any side affects? My daughter has a lot of anxiety and moodiness and I am afraid that it will make it worse. I read that it was one of the side effects, it makes these "conditions" worse.

they are the same "family" of meds, delivered differently. My daughter took Adderall XR for about a year, but it did increase her anxiety and "dull her". Others are quite successful, no way to know before hand.Thank You so much. You have both help me immensly.
Diane V: I am really glad that you mentioned that it increased her anxiety. I have decided to give ritalin another try becuase I do not want to do anything to increase her already high anxiety. Were on a good run and she hasn't had a bad attack in weeks.
Spamula: I am greatful for the information on Vyvanese and focalin. We haven't tried either yet but I'm sure it will come up eventually.

WE ARE ON OUR 2ND WEEK OF VYVANSE AND SO FAR SO GOOD. HE DID HAVE SOME MINOR FACIAL TICING BUT IT APPEARS THAT IT IS GOING AWAY????? WE ARE WATCHING CLOSELY TO SEE HOW IT GOES AND WE HAVE PDOC APPT NEXT WEEK. WE SEE NO PERSONALITY CHANGE AT ALL WHICH IS GOOD HE HAS A GREAT PERSONALITY , BUT WITH FOCALIN HE WAS A ZOMBIE AND HATED THE WAY HE FELT. NOW HE SEEMS HAPPIER.
